Hello! I'm Juan Sebastian Guerrero Peña, an Electronics Engineer and Data Scientist based in Bucaramanga, Colombia. I hold a degree in Electronics Engineering from the Universidad Industrial de Santander, IBM certified Data Science Professional and Technical degree in Administrative Assistance from SENA.
My professional journey is fueled by a passion for the vast possibilities that electronics offer in generating substantial amounts of data. As a Data Scientist, my goal is to continually enhance my skills and deepen my knowledge in specific areas within the field. For this, we establish various harmonization strategies by combining different approaches, and leverage our two-vendor dataset to train and test different models using several dataset partitions.

A sentiment analysis of the lyrics on Imagine Dragons albums. Using Python and NLTK Vader to analyze the (literal) sentiment in their lyrics and some wordclouds to get interesting visualizations.

This is a project that aims to create a model for the classification of numerical digits using Convolutional Neural Network (CNN). Numbers from 0 to 9. We collect the data, build the model, train and test the model. We also proposed creating an interactive program that would allow the user to draw the digits and see the model classification results.

A system that allows to measure and visualize the temperature using a thermal resistance sensor (RTD). The system was designed to measure temperatures between 0°C and 100°C with a precision of 0.1°C.

This work developed a low-cost, easy-to-use electrocardiograph capable of acquiring, amplifying and processing ECG signals. The system incorporates several components, including an instrumentation amplifier, low-pass and high-pass filters, a gain amplifier, and a voltage-shift circuit.

I participated in the integration and sending of data from this meteorological station, using an ESP32 and sensors to measure: temperature, CO2, UV, particulate matter. The data was sent to a server and displayed on a website.
